Sometimes you need to send multiple emails to several people all at one time. Let's say you need to email 10 people at work but you don't want to have to send 10 individual emails. There's a few ways to go about this. Here's how it's done easy and simple.
First log into your e-mail account and create a new e-mail form by clicking your compose button. Now enter the email of each person into the "To" section. Seperate each email address with a coma as seen below..
Once you are done entering all of the email addresses, you can click send and the email will be sent to each individual. None of the recipients will be aware that you sent the email to anyone else. This is what I mean by "Private Email".
Ok now this is another way of doing it. In this method, you will be sending an email to the first person and you will send a CC or carbon copy of the email to the other people you want to email. The purpose of this is to send everyone the same email but also notify each person of all the other people the email was sent to.
This time you're going to enter your first email address into the "To" section. All of the other email addresses will be entered into the Cc or "carbon copy" section of your email form. Make sure to separate each email with a coma as we did above.
Once you are done entering all of the email addresses, you can click send and your e-mail will be sent to each individual. When each person opens the email to read it, they will see a list of all the other people's email addresses that the email was sent to.
Why use all three you ask? It simple... lets say that you want to send an email and you want some of the people to see the addresses of the others it was sent to but at the same time you want some of the people to NOT see that. This is where this comes into play. Let me explain more in depth.
To do this you would enter the first email address into the "To" section. The people that you want to send the e-mail to which would include a complete list of addresses the e-mail was sent to would be entered in the "Cc" section.
Finally, the people that you want to send the email to but DO NOT want to receive a complete list of addresses the email was sent to would be entered in the "Bcc" section.
In the image above, the same email would be sent to everyone. John, Bob, and Sally would see a list of all the e-mail addresses that the e-mail was sent to when they open the email. Jake and Jennifer however would receive the e-mail minus the list of all the e-mail addresses that the e-mail was sent to. This can come in handy when you only want certain people to be in the "circle".
