Learning how to print a document or text file is another simple task that every computer user should know. This tutorial will go over a simple and easy process of printing word documents which can be used with Notepad, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft WordPad. There's no need to worry if you are using a different program because the process is generally the same or close to it in most programs.
Here's how to print a document. First open your program (in this tutorial I am using Microsoft Word) and make any final adjustments to the text that you wish to print. When you're ready to print the document, click the "file" tab at the top left of your window. A list will appear underneath the file tab and will offer a "print" option as seen below.
To see a preview of what your document will look like before you decide to print it, you can click "Print preview". This is also where you go to adjust your settings if your document deosn't print correctly.
Click the print tab and a print window will pop up.
Select which printer you want to use from the drop box at the top. Then under "page range" select ALL and don't forget to enter how many copies you want printed under the "copies" section. When you are done, click OK and your document will be printed!
This process is generally the same in commonly used programs such as Microsoft Word, Notepad, Microsoft Wordpad, and even OpenOffice. Just remember that printing a document always starts with navigating to file > print.
I hope this tutorial helped you get a good grasp on how to print a word document and thank you for visiting my site!
